Crisis care is for families who are currently experiencing a crisis or emergency in their lives and lack adequate care for their children. The provide a safe and nurturing environment for children ages newborn to 12 years old (or 17 if the child has special needs).
Crisis Child Care is available for those experiencing illness or hospitalizations of guardians or family members, mental health issues, substance abuse issues in the home, domestic violence, death in the family, and much more.

Crisis Care program offers an emergency youth shelter for those in need. Youth receive basic needs as well as the counseling services, educational support, medical care and resources they need to heal from trauma. In addition to skills development and social interaction with kids their age, the shelter offers counseling and therapeutic services to treat behavioral, emotional or substance use problems.
The Crisis Respite Childcare service partners with local registered or licensed child care providers to assist families that are in need of childcare when they are experiencing a personal crisis.

Services are a short-term solution to assist in childcare needs such as medical emergency, counseling appointment, court proceeding, domestic violence, work, or school. Parent Share and Support staff work to place the child(ren) with a state registered provider in their area.
