Cross Outreach is a homelessness prevention program offering limited assistance with basic needs for households in transition, subject to available funding. Services include help with rent, security deposits, electric or water bills, laundry vouchers, storage costs, and support for moving-related needs. While assistance with car gas is not provided, the program also offers resources to help individuals maintain clean and sanitary living environments. ***Rent, security deposits, electric, water and laundry voucher assistance requires clients to email a help request on the 3rd Monday of every month between 8 am-8 pm.

2026 Intake Dates are always on the 3rd Monday of each month, 8 am-8 pm.

Offers a free laundry service once a month for anyone who comes to a local laundromat. Provides washer pods, dryer sheets and the quarters for the machines. 

Offers free cleaning and hygiene supplies to households and individuals.

Provides mostly non-perishable food, freezer items, some produce, personal hygiene items, and household cleaning items.

Provides a client choice, non-food pantry for clients to receive items such as cleaning supplies, toilet paper, laundry detergent, personal care products, feminine hygiene products and diapers.

Work with housing agencies to provide apartment essentials for those leaving streets and shelters, including kitchen items, bathroom and bedroom.

Offers personal hygiene items and laundry/dish soap as items are available.

Provides household supplies to families in need, on a first come, first served basis.

Food pantry that offers dried goods, frozen food, dairy items, fresh produce, and holiday food baskets. Also offers personal hygiene items, paper goods, baby diapers and formula, and adult incontinence supplies.

Offers cleaning supplies that are available at no charge to those in need. Clients in need of transportation to pick up the supplies can contact Jo Daviess County Transit for further information.

Blessing Boxes distributed every Saturday at JB Young, including cleaning, hygiene, paper products, and laundry products.

Community garden available in the summer.

Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday before Easter Sunday 2026, at 11 am at Harrington Park, Davenport for free lunch for all and egg hunt with prizes.

Provides hygiene and cleaning supplies to families in Warren County and surrounding areas.

Drive-thru-only pantry held two Saturdays each month, and a pop-up outdoor pantry each Monday (food only). Offers perishable and non-perishable items, fresh produce, cleaning supplies, diapers, and laundry detergent washing sheets for 20 loads of laundry.

For Thanksgiving 2025, Thanksgiving pantry is Thu, Nov 20, starting 10 am.

For Christmas 2025, Christmas pantry is Mon, Dec 22, starting 11 am.

Provides personal products, household items and three cleaning products once a month to those in need.
