Expanded Parenting Program helps expecting mothers and parents with children up to 12 months with resources like diapers, education materials on parenting/breastfeeding, & consumer choice of other essential items.
The Greater Area Pantry is a program offered by various local churches to provide food and personal and household items to people in need. Items typically available include: canned goods, fresh vegetables, frozen beef/chicken/venison, as well as household and personal items.
The food pantry is coordinated by 12 local congregations.
This is a participating TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) food pantry. Enrollment into TEFAP is confidential and requires proof of address and identification. Individuals participating in the FoodShare, School Nutrition Program, WIC, or Senior Meals programs may participate in TEFAP without impacting their ability to qualify for those programs.
Provides food and personal hygiene grooming products, including diapers, to families in need. Food vouchers to local grocery stores for fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, milk, bread, potatoes, cheese, laundry soap, dish soap and toilet paper may also be available.
Provides an emergency food pantry that serves anyone in need of assistance. Patrons can visit twice a month for non-perishable food, milk, meat, produce and bread. Personal care items may also be available.
Low-barrier, choice-food pantry. Visitors will receive a shopping cart and have access to personal care and household items (once a month) and wide variety of dry goods, refrigerated/frozen items, and other perishables. All items are subject to availability.
A food pantry that offers non-perishable food. Depending on donations, dairy products, fresh and frozen produce, meat, baked goods, and personal grooming supplies may be available. People may visit the pantry every other week.

Provides daily living essentials to anyone in the service area. Individuals should limit their requests to one time per month. The program provides items not available through other sources. Free will donations are accepted. Examples of items provided include toilet paper, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.
Basic needs for indigent, honorably discharged veterans and their families, including assistance with rent, utilities, food, and personal hygiene items.
Other services include housing, job referral, emergency food orders, medical assistance referral, utilities (gas, lights, water, sewer), and hospital equipment loan closet.
The Howard County Food Pantry provides food for people in need. Food baskets provide fresh, frozen, and non-perishable food items. In addition, non-food items such as diapers, formula, hygiene products, and cleaning products may be available. The supply given is based on need and size of the family.
Donations and volunteers are welcome.
Offers both a clothing and personal care items pantry to anyone in need. Items are limited based on family size. Clothing from infant to adult, shoes winter gear and accessories. Must make an appointment, see application process for more information. Available once every 60 days due to appointment availability limits.
Provides canned goods and vouchers for fresh food (i.e. eggs, milk, and meat) usually enough for 2 to 3 days, a household/personal pantry for those in the Woodward/Granger School District.
