In conjunction to other county offices, the Clerk of Court also draws grand jurors, petit jurors, and talismen. The Clerk of Court also provides assistance and necessary forms needed to file a petition with the court for a legal name change.

Also provides a resource for County residents who choose to represent themselves in court or have questions on divorce, child custody, paternity, grandparent rights. Information on legal fees and costs for hiring attorneys is also available. The Clerk of Court does not give legal advice.

Provides public services related to court proceedings and maintains records of all court records. This office receives, files, and maintains all of the documentation that comprises the official court record for the following case types: felonies; misdemeanors, traffic violations, ordinance violations, civil, family, or paternity court cases, juvenile injunctions, restraining orders, and small claims court cases. The Clerk of Court is responsible for the collection of case related fees, fines and forfeitures, case management and event tracking, budget planning, records management, courtroom operation support, jury management, and facility planning.

This office issues copies of divorce decrees for divorces granted in the county court and provides assistance and necessary forms needed to file a petition with the court for a legal name change.

Bureau of Records and Vital Statistics is the department where Iowans can obtain Birth, Death and Marriage Certificates. Paternity Affidavits may be obtained by both parents signing the document and presenting identification.

ADOPTION REGISTRY PROGRAM administers a Mutual Consent Voluntary Adoption Registry that enables adoptees, their birth parents, and their blood-related brothers and sisters to find each other if the birth is registered with the State of Iowa. Application forms can be obtained from: Iowa Department of Public Health, Bureau of Vital Records, Adoption Registry Program, Lucas Office Building, 1st Floor, Des Moines, IA 50319-0075 ( 515- 281-6263). Applications can also be obtained from County Registrar of Vital Records.

Provides circuit court services to Alexander, Jackson, Johnson, Massac, Pope, Pulaski, Saline, Union, and Williamson Counties. The Circuit Clerk can help individuals find court dates, court records (copies are available for a nominal fee) and can assist with court fines. Documents are not available to view online due to the Administrative Office of Illinois Courts policy on electronic access.

Offers court services to the Warren County communities.
The Circuit Clerk is the official record keeper of the Court. All cvil, probate, traffic, criminal, and juvenile cases are filed through the Clerk's office. Also collects and disperses all monies ordered to be paid by the court.
