Provides free and confidential sexual assault/abuse and crime victim services to anyone that has been sexually assaulted/abused. Off-site/out-of-office services provided include trauma-informed services, counseling/therapy, legal advocacy, medical advocacy, social services and basic needs advocacy/case management, safety planning, 24/7 crisis helplines, and 24/7 crisis intervention at hospitals/law enforcement. Service plans based upon services client wants to receive.

Also provides community trainings in Professional settings and offers Information about Services.

Telehealth is provided for those that need, or would like it.

Provides education and training about sexual assault, abuse, and harassment to a wide variety of audiences. Child Assault Prevention Education Program provides age appropriate education to elementary aged students. Also provides education to children in public and private school districts, as well as specialized training to professional allies.

Offers the following services to sexual assault victims.

Advocacy, offering legal advocacy, medical advocacy, case management, assistance with obtaining Civil No Contact Orders and Stalking No Contact Orders.

Trauma Informed Counseling/Therapy provides individual counseling/therapy, group counseling/therapy, and specialized counseling for children and adolescents.

Prevention Education programs offers programs such as Second Step - Early Learning for PreK-5, Shifting Boundaries for Grades 6-7, Safe Dates for Grades 8-12, Bringing in the Bystander for Grades 9-12, and professional and community training opportunities.

Domestic Violence Survivor Support Services for Monsoon Asians and Pacific Islanders | Monsoon Asians and Pacific Islanders in Solidarity

Provides direct services to victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, dating violence, sexual harassment, and human trafficking in the Asian Pacific Islander communities in Iowa. Services include domestic violence and sexual assault hotlines, adult and youth domestic violence and sexual assault prevention and intervention programs, spouse and intimate partner abuse prevention, and child sexual assault prevention programs that educate children about personal safety, recognizing inappropriate behavior, and reporting abuse.

Prevention Education | Rockford Sexual Assault Counseling, Inc.

Provides free training and education about sexual assault prevention to clients' faculty and/or students. Presentations on the following topics are provided to meet the needs of the group requesting services:

- Personal Safety: Children and teens learn important safety rules about home safety, good and bad strangers, good touch/bad touch, tricky people, and safety when traveling.

- Sexual Harassment (adapted to age level): Topics include "What is it?", "What can I do to stop it?", and "Sexual Harassment: It's Hurting People" (Grades 5-8).

- Bullying: K-1st "It's Not OK to Bully", 2nd-5th "I Was Just Kidding!", 6th-8th "Bullying 101", 8th-12th "Bullies and Harassment on Campus", Teachers and Staff "Strategies for Dealing with Bullies"

- Dating Violence and Healthy Relationships: Recognize warning signs of an unhealthy relationship.

- Sexual Assault and Abuse: Learn common myths, prevalence and effects of sexual assault.

- Mandated Reporting: Learn when to report and how to report.

Sexual Assault Information and Referrals | Iowa Coalition Against Sexual Assault

Develops and distributes materials relating to sexual assault and acts as a statewide clearinghouse on programs, services and resources for and about sexual assault survivors. Training programs for advocates, agencies and communities are available to help them enhance their intervention skills and their awareness of the problems sexual abuse survivors may experience. The Coalition coordinates a statewide support and referral service for sexual assault survivors. The Coalition operates a resource library with books, videos, and periodicals.

Assists anyone who is experiencing or has experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking. Operates a 24/7 crisis hotline to assist in a crisis. Also offers an inclusive, safe, and welcoming space where survivors can access a range of services in one location, including crisis intervention and long-term supportive care.

- ADVOCACY: Skilled guidance in the aftermath of a crisis to aid in safety planning, assessing immediate needs, identifying

resources, and navigating the various systems survivors may encounter.

- SELF-SUFFICIENCY: Specialized case management to assist with planning, monitoring, and achieving goals leading to independence, empowerment, and safety.

- HOUSING: Support locating emergency housing for immediate safety and relocation to permanent, stable housing.

- LEGAL: Professional advice and assistance with legal matters related to a survivor’s experience of abuse.

Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services | Hope Crisis Center

Temporary emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and accompanying children. Emergency needs such as food and clothing can be provided while in shelter, if needed.24 hour crisis line provides support, info and confidential emergency services available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Client advocacy is available to help support individuals through crisis, such as assistance in applying for Department of Health and Human Services economic assistance programs, finding a new place to live, or for emotional support and talking through options.

Legal advocacy provides assistance with filing domestic violence and harassment protection orders, legal referrals, help in finding legal representation, and court accompaniment.

Medical advocacy offers referrals and accompaniment as needed.

Bilingual advocacy provides immigration information for victims of domestic violence or sexual assault. To reach a Spanish-speaking advocate, contact the Spanish line or stop in at the Crete office to speak with a Spanish-speaking advocate.

Information and referrals provided regarding assistance outside of Hope Crisis Center.

Community education programs offered free of charge on topics such as: domestic violence, sexual assault, bullying, good touch/bad touch/secret touch, teen dating violence, date rape, violence in the media, sexting, domestic violence and the effects on children, sexual assault and the effect on children, and others.
