Grandparent aged volunteers serve as mentors, tutors and caregivers in schools and daycare classrooms for children and youth who need extra attention. Foster Grandparent program provides volunteer service to disadvantaged or disabled youth. Foster grandparents are individuals age 55 and over. Income-eligible foster grandparents receive a modest stipend to help offset the costs of volunteering.
