Companionship, respite care, housekeeping, chores, pet care, meal prep, hospital to home transition care, grooming, bathing/dressing, alzheimer’s/dementia care, ambulation, medication reminders, continence care, and appointment assistance.  Also provides transportation to appointments, running errands or social events.

Respite program designed to relieve the stress of daily child rearing for parents and caregivers. TAB is held on several Fridays a month from 6 pm-8 pm for all children 6 weeks to 12 years of age.

Children are cared for in a safe environment as they enjoy crafts, exercise and games, and learn about healthy life choices from visiting community organizations, while moms, dads, grandparents, guardians, and caregivers are able to take a few hours for themselves and recharge. Senior Care Options program available to older Nebraskans who are considering admission to a nursing home and may be eligible for Medicaid assistance. Clients are screened according to a standardized assessment process developed by the Department of Health and Human Services.

Care Managers arrange for services, which allow older adults to live as independently as possible, for as long as possible.

Housekeeping and supportive services to include grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, transportation and personal care.

Family Caregiver Support for those caring for an aging adult or grandparents caring for a minor child. Provides information, assistance, support group, respite care, and supplemental services.

Home delivered meals are provided to homebound by reason of illness, disability or isolation. The meals meet 1/3 of the daily dietary recommended needs of adults 60 years and over and the requirements of the Older Americans Act and state and local laws.

A waiver home is an alternative to institutions for the elderly and people with behavioral or mental conditions/disabilities. Staff is trained to help each consumer understand that living in a waiver home means that they are required to be considerate of others and respectful of the rules in their homes. Staff also help them understand that living in a waiver home is not a final chapter where someone “put” them, but rather, a new chapter where they can function to the best of their abilities with trained staff members who are aware of each individual’s circumstances. The group home situation allows the individual to develop skills in:

- Financial management

- Cooking

- Cleaning

- Shopping.

An individual can also learn more about personal relationships and connecting to their community.
