Two-year program where individuals who have a history of serious mental illness interact with practitioners and peers in individual and group settings as they work toward their mental health recovery goals.

Individuals are required to participate in the program eight hours each week.

Must participate in one group in-person session each week. Individuals participating in the program must live within driving distance of the center, to effectively participate in the program.

IPR services are designed to focus on improving personal capabilities while reducing harmful effects of psychiatric disabilities, resulting in an individual's recovery techniques and the ability to function well within society.

Clients develop high levels of coping skills through self-discovery. Services are provided in natural settings where clients live, learn, work, and socialize.

Some services are offered in cohorts ranging from two to six people in each cohort. The use of cohorts help develop socialization techniques from the viewpoint of others. Each client will be committed to being services for four to ten hours per week for approximately a one-year time frame. Person-to-person services are available.

Assertive Community Treatment services are provided to individuals with severe functional impairments who have not responded well to traditional outpatient care. Many have co-occurring problems with substance abuse, homelessness, or involvement with the judicial system. Services are provided to the client in their home and the community.

- Schizophrenia care.

- Bipolar disorder care.

Offers a Partial Hospitalization Program providing psychiatric treatment and care that is a step down from inpatient care, but more involved than Intensive Outpatient Program. Partial Hospitalization Programs typically include psychiatric day treatment, various counseling services, and more. Treatment for co-occurring substance use disorders available.

Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation designed to help persons with serious and persistent mental illness attain success.

The Clubhouse at Liberty Centre offers dervices including day support, supported employment (clubhouse volunteer work, transitional employment and supported employment), housing, and transportation. It also manages 4 apartment complexes for people with mental illness and can assist in obtaining housing through local housing assistance programs.

-- Invitation To Responsibility (ITR) is a treatment program for men and women who have committed acts of domestic abuse.

-- Program complies with the Illinois protocol for Partner Abuse Intervention Programs.

Provides a Forensic Psychiatric Hospital (FPH). The patients (not offenders) in this unit have not been adjudicated to serve prison sentences. They are committed to this unit due to their high risk for assaultive and/or self-injurious behavior to the point that no other providers are equipped to adequately care for them, and there are additionally a few patients who reside at the FPH who have been found, “Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI).”

Vocational training, support, and other mental health services to adults with chronic mental illness.

- Self esteem/self acceptance.

- Love, belonging, and relationships.

- Goal setting and personal growth.

- Creativity.

Special activities may include cooking classes, karaoke, and day trips.

Offers programs and services to assist individuals living with mental illness identify and reach recovery goals. Once goals are identified, a service plan is developed to reach those goals. Services may include case management/care coordination, psychosocial rehabilitation groups, representative payeeship, money management, symptom management or medication education and monitoring. All services are intended to develop skills to improve or maintain independent living and to increase one's quality of life.
