Substance abuse evaluations assess an individuals involvement with alcohol/drugs and how this use has affected one's major life areas. Upon completion of this evaluation process, a referral to the treatment modality most appropriate to the clients needs is made.
Adult Outpatient Treatment is designed to expose clients to the tools necessary for making responsible decisions regarding the use of alcohol/drugs. Issues such as the disease concept of alcoholism, physical effects of alcohol/drugs, denial and defense mechanisms, and the effects on family members and among those addressed during the treatment process. Group meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:30 pm.
Extended Adult Outpatient Treatment program participants meet three times a week for two hours per session for eight weeks and is followed by an individual aftercare group that meets on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 pm. The program consists of a combination of education, group, and individual sessions. AA and/or NA attendance is necessary in addition to the treatment hours. Individual sessions are provided as part of Aftercare planning and based on the individual's need.
Aftercare Services provides structured group therapy on a weekly basis for individuals that have completed treatment with any agency. The focus of this group is recovery issues. Meets every Wednesday evening 5:30-7:30 pm.
