Offers a free meal to those in need. Tuesday 5:00-6:30 for supper. They have a clothing rack (not a clothing closet) and a table with a few non-perishable items for free. Saturday dine in or take-out vegetarian lunch 11 am-12:30 pm.
Provides nutrition education to individuals that are ages 60 and above. Also provides 8-10 pounds of free fruits and vegetable once a month to qualifying low income senior citizens.
Supper Club is a family friendly meal served to go outside the building for anyone on Mon-Fri 4 pm-5 pm.
Offers a hot meal, at lunch time, to anyone in need on Wednesdays. Meals are served to go.

Provides three free meals every day of the year to anyone in the community at our Hope Caf - 1310 6th Avenue. We do not require evidence of financial need. (Haga clic para espaol)

Christ Apostolic Temple Community Outreach offers a variety of services including: a diaper bank, a food pantry, a reentry program, distribution of household items, and other community partnerships to assist families.
Offers a place for anyone to come in, enjoy activities and have a free meal. Activities vary on a daily basis. Meals served Mon-Fri 12 pm-1 pm.
Provides a safe place for at-risk and homeless youth (age 16-24) to connect with services. Services include street outreach, drop-in services, daily meals, emergency beds, an art studio, computer lab and mental health counseling options.

The center can also connect youth and young adults with additional YSS supportive housing programs, such as Lighthouses, Transitional Living Program, and Rapid Re-housing.

Community Meals are served daily to anyone needing a hot meal. The meal locations and times are as follows:

La Iglesia Apostolica Church, 2561 Onawa Street, DSM 50317, 4:30 pm-6:30 pm.
New Directions Shelter, 3001 Grand Avenue, DSM 50312, 4:30 pm-6:30 pm.
Offers both a hot breakfast and lunch to those in need in the community.
Serves breakfast starting at 5 am-9 am on Tuesday and Friday mornings, and Wednesday from 7 am-11 am, near the following locations (times are approximate): Salvation Army Temple (5 am-5:30 am), Central Iowa Shelter and Services (5:30 am-6:05 am), Elsie Mason Manor (6:10 am-6:40 am), and 12th and Crocker (6:45 am-7:10 am). Do not serve at Temple a second time around, only once.
