Eligibility

Open to homeless families within Champaign County referred through the Coordinated Entry System, one or more parent (or legal guardian) age 18 or over with child(ren) under the age of 18, family household size with max 6 people, all adults must be biologically or legally related to the child(ren), pregnant people in their last trimester of pregnancy with no children currently in their care are eligible for shelter

Mon-Fri 8 am-4:30 pm excluding Champaign County holidays Intakes for shelter are typically conducted during business hours Homeless families seeking immediate shelter after hours will have to access alternatives independently, such as the STRIDES emergency shelter and Crisis Nursery for children age 6 and under

Email [email protected] to request a Centralized Intake for the Homeless (CIH) or complete a CIH with a partner agency, individuals without email access may call CCRPC and ask Homeless Services Customer Service Specialist to send an email on their behalf
