Free, 4-week program designed to help unemployed women find employment or pursue educational opportunities. A new cohort begins each month, and up to 10 women are accepted for each session. Participants receive training and one-on-one coaching as they develop a cover letter and resume, strengthen their interview skills, seek employment or education, create a workable budget, navigate community resources, build self-confidence, develop relationships with other women, and learn how to manage stress.

Transportation is available from select locations. Women in the program are eligible for free childcare at YWCA of Grand Island while they are in classes. Lunch will be provided during each class. The program meets 4 days a week: Tuesday: Training from 9 am-1 pm; Wednesdays: Coaching/work time from 9 am-12 pm; Thursdays: Training from 9 am-1 pm; Fridays: Coaching/work time from 9 am-12 pm. Women who complete the program with 90% attendance (only misses 6 out of 56 total hours) will receive a completion certificate, letters of recommendation from program staff, and check-in support calls for 3 months after completion.
