The Public Swimming Pool Permit and Enforcement Program regulates the operation, and maintenance of all public swimming pools, spas, and related facilities; conducts annual comprehensive inspections; and investigates complaints from the public.
Food Service/Retail/Hotel/Vending and Mass Gathering Licensing and Enforcement Program is responsible for annual inspections and licensing of food/retail/hotel/vending services to enforce state regulations, and for providing sanitation training for food establishments, hotels, etc.
Wastewater Treatment/Disposal System Permit and Enforcement Program regulates the design, construction, and installation of all non-public, on-site wastewater treatment and disposal systems in Scott County.
Water Well Permit and Enforcement Program provides permits for new wells, works on plugging abandoned wells, assists in rehabilitating older wells, and provides financial assistance for plugging abandoned wells and rehabilitation of existing wells.
Tanning/Tattoo Permit and Enforcement Program inspects and regulates the operation of these facilities in Scott and Clinton counties.
