Provides a food assistance program for women, infants, and children. Program helps pregnant women, new mothers, and young children eat well and stay healthy.

WIC Farmers' Market Program:

Eligible WIC participants receive summer farmers' market vouchers.

Call to schedule an appointment; New participants must call at least 1 day in advance, before services begin, or may have to wait 24 hours before receiving food benefits

Eligibility

Open to pregnant or breastfeeding women up to 1 year after birth, new mothers up to 6 months after giving birth, or a parent/guardian/caretaker who has an infant or child younger than 5 years of age; Must meet income guidelines; Resident of Illinois; Must have a medical or nutritional health risk; Individuals interested in becoming a WIC participant may contact CUPHD to find out if they are eligible for the program
