Reports client unemployment eligibility determination just entering a social security number.
Requirements include the following: applicant must be unemployed or under employed; must file an application for benefits; must have worked for an employer that has paid unemployment taxes; must be physically able to work; must be available to accept a job when offered or return to former job when recalled; and must meet the work search requirements.
Needed before applicant call: Social Security Number and Alien Registration Number if not a citizen; complete mailing address and county name; Driver's License number or Nebraska ID number; name and address of most recent employer; employment history for the last 18 months; clients must be prepared to create a personal identification number (PIN); and pencil and paper to take notes assigned when filing a claim.
