Contact R Place Peer Recovery Center to be put on the wait list for the next course, when a new class is scheduled, NAMI Peer Teachers will contact the individual about enrolling in the class

Offers an 8-session course for adults experiencing mental illness(es), including substance use disorder. P2P is taught by "Peers" (adults with mental illness). Two or three trained Peer Instructors volunteer to teach the course. Peers learn about common mental illness diagnoses, effective ways to deal with them, and how to self-advocate to get the best care.
