TAX LAW PROJECT | LEGAL AID OF NEBRASKA

Works to ensure the fairness and integrity of the tax system for low-income taxpayers by educating about taxpayer rights and responsibilities, by providing free representation in tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and by identifying and advocating for issues impacting low-income taxpayers.

The amount in controversy for any tax year generally should not exceed $50,000.

The Tax Law Project does not prepare tax returns.
