Open to low-income individuals and families who meet income guidelines
Required documents
Copy of social security cards for everyone in the home, copy of most recent heat bill, copy of most recent electric bill, proof of income for everyone living in the household full-time for the past 30 days

LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) provides supplemental help for the winter heating bills November 1st through April 15th: LIHEAP Crisis Assistance when funding available provides in a life threatening situation fuel, heaters, furnace repair; furnace replacement for homeowners when funds available. Applications are accepted October 1-April 30 for elderly or disabled households and November 1-April 30 for all other households.
May have some crisis funding available outside the normal LIHEAP months, call local County Outreach Office for availability of funding.
