ADVOCACY SERVICES | IOWA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES - DIVISION OF AGING AND DISABILITY SERVICES

The sole administrative agency designated to receive and disburse funds for coordination and implementation of a State Plan for aging services. Services include information and assistance, case management, congregate and home delivered meals, transportation, legal assistance, State Long-Tem Care Ombudsman and community-based services. The Department provides information on the senior population to any public or private agency, or to any individual interested in the issues of aging, upon request.
