Healthy Families | Iowa State University Extension and Outreach

Provides medical health information and referral services for women in Iowa. Topics covered include birth control and pregnancy, breast and cervical cancer, immunizations, child and infant health, domestic abuse, maternal and prenatal care, sexually transmitted diseases, perinatal depression, heart disease, and other health-related topics. The program also connects individuals with qualified medical practitioners for primary or specialized care and offers comprehensive information and referrals to a wide range of human service providers in the community.
