Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) helps job seekers access employment, education, training, and support services to succeed in the labor market and to match employers with the skilled workers they need.
Registered Apprenticeship System provides information for individuals interested in apprenticeship opportunities and for employers searching for proven strategies to develop talent and build a skilled workforce. Provides information on funding opportunities, program information, services for veterans, and links to federal resources and union websites participating in the Registered Apprenticeship System. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and complete one to six years of paid, supervised, work based training and technical instruction to become certified in the profession of their choice.
