ANIMAL CONTROL AND ADOPTION | MCHENRY COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH

Provides a variety of enforcement, educational, and animal disposition services including, dog licensing, cruelty and complaint investigation, pet care presentations, animal adoptions.

For situations in which an animal's welfare may be in jeopardy (such as animal abuse, neglect, injury, or endangerment) or where public health or safety may be impacted (such as a bite, attack, or harassment of a person by an animal), contact the office to report what was seen or heard. An Animal Control Officer will be dispatched to investigate the situation.
