FAMILY CENTERED SERVICES | YOUTH SHELTER CARE OF NORTH CENTRAL IOWA, INC.

Provides emergency shelter and services to boys and girls, up to age 18, and their families. Currently licensed to serve 20 youth at any given time. Provides Family Centered Services for youth involved in the system, an in-home program and diversion services, including a 47 hour housing program for youth whose home may be a danger.

Referral procedure : Admissions received 24 hours a day; Youth or their families may contact YSC directly or they may call Iowa Department of Human Services, law enforcement agencies, Juvenile Court Services, or community helping agencies who will aid in admission and planning for the youth; YSC works on a voluntary or court ordered basis
