Eligibility

Open to: - Individuals experiencing homelessness or at risk of losing housing (HUD Category 1 or 4); - Those with mental health conditions, medical issues, or substance use disorders; - Applicants who meet SSA's definition of disability (inability to engage in Substantial Gainful Activity, and have a condition expected to last at least 12 months or result in death)

Helps individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness apply for Social Security disability benefits.

- Free assistance with SSI/SSDI applications.

- Support in gathering medical records.

- Writing a strong personal statement to help applicant's case.

- SSA-appointed representation for the client's application.
