A project through the Des Moines Register that is administered by Community Action Agencies in the state. Application periods may vary depending on location.

Requests that are considered for this project may include beds, clothing, car repairs, medical expenses (including pharmacy, dental and corrective lenses), furniture, rent, utilities, fees & fines, home repairs, household items, appliances, and miscellaneous other things (computer, etc.). The maximum dollar amount awarded per household is $750.
