EDUCATION PROGRAMMING | CENTRAL NEBRASKA COUNCIL ON ALCOHOLISM AND ADDICTIONS

Offers a variety of education programs for both youth and adults (on-site and off-site) related to alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. Offers specific programs to help family members understand addiction and to assist with interventions when/where appropriate (fee for intervention help). Youth programs are typically free and offered as an after-school program for elementary and middle schoolers. Kid's Power is a free eight-week program for children affected by a loved one's addiction.

Helps connect people to treatment and other recovery resources throughout Nebraska and with affiliates across the nation for those looking for help with substance use/addiction problems, and their family members. Free print resources about alcoholism/addiction available on-site as well. Bookstore and lending library provides resources related to substance use, addiction, mental health issues, parenting, personal/spiritual growth.
