FOOD ASSISTANCE | FAYETTE AND CLAYTON COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES

People requiring services are asked to call and inquire about the status of the services required. The food assistance program provides a state/federally funded program that enables low-income and indigent households to obtain Food Assistance EBT cards which can be used in nearly all grocery stores for food. Approved households are entitled to receive a monthly allotment of Food Assistance benefits that is based on net income and household size. Emergency services are available. This office also accepts reports of changes in individual or household circumstances which may affect the benefits the person or household is receiving; examples of changes that should be reported include the birth of a child, address change, change in income or assets, people moving into or out of the home, or changes in individual or household expenses.
