Open to Story County residents only, primary focus on people 60 and older but open to all adults, must be mentally alert and able to walk with little or no assistance; walkers and canes can be accommodated

Client application and volunteer driver application available at both Story City and Ames locations or online; paper application can be mailed as well

Description
Provides volunteer drivers in to Story County residents with transportation to and from medical appointments and other essential services. Although not exclusive, our priority is serving Story County’s older adult population.

Offers to connect adult volunteers age 55 and over with opportunities to engage in service to the community. Volunteers choose what fits their passions, interests, and schedules.
