VITA free tax preparation for seniors and low to moderate income individuals. Appointment line opens January 20, 2026, with appointments starting on February 2.
This is a year-round VITA site subject to volunteer availability. The site will remain open through June with regular hours and after June on an as-needed basis.
VITA can help file the previous 3 years' returns; however, filer must have ALL tax forms for the previous years. There is no way for VITA to find this information.

Valid photo ID for taxpayer and spouse; Social Security cards/ITIN letters for everyone on the return; Birth dates for household; Copy of last year's tax return or tax transcript (if available); Proof of income, interest, and other tax forms (W-2's, 1099's, 1098-T, 1098 Mortgage Interest, etc.); Bank routing numbers and account numbers for direct deposit; IRS Letters, if applicable (IPPIN, Refund interest, etc.)
