Administers the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program to qualified low-income households in Boone, Dallas, Jasper, Madison, Marion, and Story counties. The program enables participants to pay between 30 and 40 percent of their monthly income toward rent, with CIRHA forming a contract with landlords to cover the remaining rent directly. Additionally, the program provides access to information about privately owned apartment buildings offering below-market-rate housing units developed with public funding.

This program does not include the communities of Knoxville and Pella.
