Eligibility
Must be a Champaign County resident and must be an American Water customer., Applicant must reside at address on bill. Individuals requesting assistance must provide a current copy of their delinquent water bill to The Salvation Army caseworker. The individual must demonstrate financial need NOT due to chronic or intentional delinquency. Assistance is provided to individuals/family one time per calendar year. The maximum assistance amount is 100.00
