Sponsors financial aid for cardiovascular research, provides public materials on cardiovascular disease and stroke, assists in health education programs of schools and other organizations, provides technical literature and education to physicians and provides CPR training and materials.

Annual events include: Heart Walk, Heart Ball, and Go Red for Women Luncheon.

American Stroke Association is a division of the AHA offering free materials and resources who to families who have been affected by stroke.
