Description

Behavior health intervention services/therapy and counseling services are voluntary, skill-based services for youth with behavioral or mental health issues; provided in an in-home or office setting, remedial services teach children and their families skills to deal with issues such as anger management, coping, making good decisions, communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution and relationships; therapy and counseling services are provided to address social, emotional and behavioral problems that negatively affect the child and family's stability.

Therapy and skill services are provided to individuals, families, and couples as well as skill development services to children (and their families) with behavioral and/or mental health issues; the program utilizes a strength-based, family-centered approach to maximize opportunities for success in all parts of the participants' lives.
