Eligibility

Open to adoptive parents ages 21 and older, must be single or a legally recognized couple for at least one year, must be capable of passing a child abuse/neglect and criminal background check, must be able to provide the names of unrelated individuals to attest to the applicant's character, must provide sufficient resources to provide basic necessities for themselves and the children to be adopted, must have health and life insurance, or children being placed in foster care by court order, foster parents must be ages 21 and older and must be able to pass a criminal background check
