LEAD POISONING PREVENTION PROGRAM SERVICES | DOUGLAS COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT

Provides education and community outreach on lead poisoning prevention.

Monitors blood lead levels of all children and provides appropriate follow-up.

Conducts environmental home inspections and provides recommendations and resources.

Provides blood lead screening for children under 7 and those who are pregnant and/or breastfeeding. Offers testing at DCHD clinic on Tuesdays from 8:30 am to 11 am or at various community outreach events.
