CONSERVATION SERVICES | CLAYTON COUNTY OFFICES
Maintains county parks and recreation areas and provides hunter safety classes, camping, fishing and boating information. Outdoor recreational opportunities are available through county parks and outdoor wildlife areas.
Also provides the Osborne Conservation Education Center which offers educational programs to schools and other groups. Educational topics cover the areas of nature, environmental concerns, conservation and Iowa history. The Center can provide programs for groups of individuals with physical and mental disabilities. The Center also offers a monthly program, OWLS (Older, Wiser, and Lively Souls), directed to retirement age individuals. Topics include forestry, wildlife, tours, crafts, etc.. This program runs March through November.

None or small cost for many programs, group tours from out of county are normally $2 per person, the OWLS monthly session is $5 per person plus a small fee for lunch
