Provides short-term monetary assistance to very low income residents in financial crisis.
Persons interested in rent or utility assistance must first contact the East Central Intergovernmental Association before completing a General Assistance application. ECIA will assist in directing persons to assistance resources.
Persons interested in burial assistance must contact the Dubuque County Veterans Affairs office.
** Applications for the Dubuque County General Assistance rent or utility assistance program must come through a referral from Coordinated Entry partner agencies.
