GENERAL ASSISTANCE | BENTON COUNTY OFFICES
Provides financial assistance to low income Benton County residents on an emergency basis. The applicant must meet financial guidelines established by the Benton County Board of Supervisors and have applied for all other means of assistance. Veterans must meet with Veterans Affairs for assistance first. Cannot assist students, be on subsidized housing or receive Social Security benefits. Assistance may include rent, utilities, burial. Referrals to food pantry may be given with no regard to income.

Eligibility
Must be 18 years of age or older, county resident for at least 30 days, meet income guidelines, and not receiving SSI, Social Security, FIP, or cannot be a Veteran, can not be on Subsidized Housing
