GRAND ISLAND/HALL COUNTY VICTIM-WITNESS PROGRAM | GRAND ISLAND CITY OFFICES
Provides free services to individuals who have suffered physical, sexual, financial, or emotional harm as a result of a crime. Program staff and volunteers will respond to the emotional and physical needs of crime victims; assist primary and secondary crime victims in stabilizing their lives after victimization; assist victims in understanding and participating in the criminal justice system; and provide victims of crime with a measure of safety and security.
Types of cases covered by the program include domestic violence, phone offenses, crimes affecting persons over 65 years, assault, burglary, child abuse, DUI crashes, homicide or attempted homicide, identity theft, robbery, sexual assault, stalking, protection order violations, and threats.
