EXCEPTIONAL FAMILY MEMBER PROGRAM (BASE ACCESS REQUIRED) | OFFUTT AFB MILITARY AND FAMILY READINESS CENTER
Ensures family members' documented medical and/or educational needs are considered during the military assignment process.
Medical services staff work with families to coordinate identification and enrollment in the program. Then, medical and military personnel departments work with the military members and families to coordinate assignments to consider special needs, since appropriate services may be limited in some locations.
Family Support helps families navigate the enrollment and connects them with resources and support. Staff offer non-clinical case management and provide warm handoffs to the next location.
