FOOD PANTRY - TEFAP PROVIDER | ALLAMAKEE COUNTY FOOD SHELF

The Allamakee County Food Shelf provides supplemental food for people in need through a weekly food pantry. The amount of food depends on the number of people in the family. In emergency situations people may call and arrange for food outside of the weekly pantry hours. This is a participating TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) food pantry. Enrollment into TEFAP is confidential and requires proof of address and identification. Individuals participating in the FoodShare, School Nutrition Program, WIC, or Senior Meals programs may participate in TEFAP without impacting their ability to qualify for those programs.
