LICENSING, PERMIT, AND ENFORCEMENT | SCOTT COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT

Public Swimming Pool Permit and Enforcement Program regulates the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of all public swimming pools, spas, and related facilities in Scott and Clinton counties and takes complaints from patrons, then does appropriate investigation and follow-up.

Food Service/Retail/Hotel/Vending and Mass Gathering Licensing & Enforcement Program is responsible for annual inspections and licensing of food/retail/hotel/vending services to enforce state regulations, and for providing sanitation training for food establishments, hotels, etc.

Wastewater Treatment/Disposal System Permit & Enforcement Program regulates the design, construction, and installation of all non-public, on-site wastewater treatment and disposal systems in Scott County.

Water Well Permit and Enforcement Program provides permits for new wells, works on plugging abandoned wells, assists in rehabilitating older wells, and provides financial assistance for plugging abandoned wells and rehabilitation of existing wells.

Tanning/Tattoo Permit and Enforcement Program inspects and regulates the operation of these facilities in Scott and Clinton counties.
