Eligibility
Must have been approved by a landlord to rent a unit before applying for security deposit or first month's rent assistance, must be a McHenry County resident for the past 30 days, verification of residency and homelessness is required from an agency that is located in McHenry County
Required documents
State issued photo ID for all adult household members, social security cards for all household members, all documentation of gross income, proof of homelessness or imminent risk of becoming homeless, pre-lease approval letter
