Provides assistance to help prevent homelessness, including, but not limited to:
- Emergency rent assistance for families in imminent danger of eviction
- Security deposits or first month's rent to help a family move into permanent housing in order to divert homelessness
- Emergency financial assistance to prevent housing foreclosure
- Referrals to other services to help prevent homelessness

Must demonstrate proof of emergency situation in the past six months and be resident of area served for at least one year, must be able to pay a portion of rent or deposit and employed to prove rent will be continue to be paid; Security deposit assistance requires a need for relocation (such as fleeing domestic violence, divorce, eviction, etc)
