Eligibility
First priority is households with individuals with medical conditions that require electricity to treat (i.e. oxygen, breathing machines, etc.); Second priority is households with seniors 55 years old or older; Third priority is households with children 5 years old or younger; After those households have been served, generators will be given on loan on a first come, first serve basis

Distributes generators to households on the reservation that may experience extended periods of power outages (determined to be 5 hours or more) due to weather, scheduled maintenance, etc. Executive Committee will contact the electric company to find out an approximate duration that residents will be without power.

Generators will be filled with gas when delivered, and households are required to return it full. Borrower is responsible for hooking up the generator. If the borrower does not have the proper plugin, the generator cannot be used. Generators are not large enough to power an entire house.
