Unmet Needs of Morgan County | Prairieland United Way

***This is only to be used as a last resort program and all other resources MUST be used first.

The below steps must be followed to access the Unmet Needs program:

1. Connect with Prairieland United Way. United Way will direct those in need to available resources from food, to housing, and utilities.

2. Use the Salvation Army of Jacksonville. When there are no more resources available through United Way partner organizations, the Salvation Army is equipped to meet a variety of emergency needs.

3. Once the Salvation Army has exhausted all of their program options, they will reach out to the Unmet Needs program on behalf of the person in need. This program can help with rent or utility assistance, home repairs, medical (outstanding bills, ambulance services, eyeglasses, even bus passes to get to medical appointments), and transportation/car repair.
