EDUCATION AND HEALTH PROMOTION SERVICES | AGING PARTNERS

Programs focus on disease and injury prevention for older adults and caregivers. Clinic programs are co-sponsored with the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing.

Clinic Programs: Comprehensive foot care, health assessments, health screenings which include blood pressure, cholesterol/triglycerides, glucose, bone density, ear wax removal, medication and safety checks to provide participants with knowledge of personal health risks and information about things they can do to lower risks and optimize health.

Health and Fitness Programs: Fitness, health education classes and physical activity programs. Staff conduct health education programs for community, church and social groups. A variety of programs have been developed in the areas of illness and injury prevention, physical activity, nutrition, and mental wellness. Individuals are encouraged to take measures that decrease risk, promote optimum health and encourage independent living.
