SUPPORT FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED | HORIZONS FOR THE BLIND
Provides the following services to assist blind and visually impaired individuals:
- transcribes materials on all subjects into large print, braille, and audio
- Provides indirect services through public/private facilities and cultural organizations to make their programs and physical plants accessible
- Sponsors an outreach community organization, The Weekenders, which provides opportunities to attend a wide variety of social and cultural events
- Processes monthly billing statements in braille, large print, and audio for utilities and banks
- Store at main location where you can purchase helpful products from the gadget gallery and devices
