Eligibility

Open to those who are an Ameren Illinois customer
  • Must be a senior or disabled or have a temporary, documentable crisis
  • Bill cannot be over $1,500.00
  • Must meet income requirements as stated - 200%-350% of poverty level
  • Must have active service in the home (cannot be shut off)
  • Must make matching payment; Ameren will match payments up to $500.00 for heating and $200.00 for cooling

Required documents

Photo ID, Social Security cards, proof of income, copy of the power bill, and receipt of payment
