A free six-week career exploration and college preparation program that supports up to 20 high school students interested in nursing and health sciences. Programming features a blend of classroom and immersion activities (math, science, study skills, admissions, financial aid, healthcare, interactive tours of local health facilities, and career sessions with health professionals) designed to increase access to educational and employment opportunities. Camp is open to all high school students, including entering freshmen and exiting seniors, who attend school in Black Hawk County or the surrounding Cedar Valley.
